BAM!

"Oh no"
I was in a daze and then Seth told me we hit a deer...like in a bad kind of way....like we sent that deer straight to heaven.
He pulled over and assessed the damage. I didn't dare get out-I didn't want to see the damage to our car or to the deer. Our front fender was damaged, light was shattered...that's all he saw at 4:00 a.m.
We started back on the road and noticed no damage to the alignment or anything else-the car drove fine..just some cosmetic damage.
We continued on our way and once we had actual daylight, we understood the real damage.
Basically the whole left side of the car was damaged. We called our insurance and they have took care of everything. Once we arrived in Cedar City, we took the car in and now it's getting fixed. They hooked us up with a rental....
....of course they give us 2 giants the hobbit hearse.
Bottom line: we are SO blessed this accident wasn't worse/cause more damage/hurt us. Just a little hiccup.
A $3,000 hiccup. Thumbs up for that.

Don't you just love it. I didn't even kill the deer and it cost us 5 grand. Gotta love it!
